Prime Oil is a small, family-owned home heating oil delivery company in Springfield, Massachusetts. We only collect the information we need to answer your questions and deliver oil to your home.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways, and only when you choose to give it to us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
- Orders placed by phone or online request: your delivery address, tank and fill-pipe details, the number of gallons you want and the delivery date you prefer.
- Basic technical data: your IP address, which we record with contact form submissions only to limit spam and abuse.
How we use your information
- To reply to your question or price request.
- To schedule, route and complete your heating oil delivery.
- To confirm pricing, delivery fees and payment for an order.
- To keep ordinary business records of the deliveries we have made.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not run advertising or behavioral tracking pixels on this website.
- We do not send marketing email to people who only asked us a question.
Payment information
We do not take card numbers through this website. Payment is arranged directly when your order is confirmed, so full card details are never stored on this site's database.
Who else can see your information
A small number of service providers help us run this website and our records. They may process your information only to provide that service to us:
- Our website and database hosting provider, which stores contact form submissions.
- Google Maps, which supplies the embedded map on our contact and pricing pages. Loading that map is a request to Google and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept while they are useful for customer service and record keeping, then removed. Delivery and billing records are kept as long as normal business and tax record keeping requires.
Your choices

Children
This website is meant for adults arranging home heating oil delivery. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
